Suze Orman one of my favorite financial advisors said "Cleanliness is a state of purity, clarity, and precision. Cleanliness is about respecting the importance of order and organization." This past weekend I took time out from my busy schedule to organize my office and my home. I know I could have gotten by another week without really cleaning, but I chose not because I understand and believe that one of the qualities of extraordinary and successful people is cleanliness. We all have the opportunity to obtain this characteristic, by cleaning and maintain our offices, cars, homes, etc. Here are some benefits you will experience when you are organized/clean:
#1 Mental Wellness
#2 Maximize your work efficiency and response rate to others.
#3 Save time and Money.
#4 Reduce “Brain Clutter”, which will increase your ability to stay focused and disciplined on the task at hand.
#5 Increase in productivity.
#6 Confidence.
So when you go home, get in your car, or open your fridge remember that discipline is the bridge between vision and success, if you clean now you will reap the benefits listed above later!
Wishing you the best your friend,

Stay Focus!
Hello Everyone!
Today I presented at California State University, Sacramento and despite the technical difficulties we had prior to my presentation, I had to fight to stay focus on the task at hand, so I was proactive about thinking of ways this distraction could play into my introduction and add value to my speech and not distract the students, so before I presented I illustrated the ability to adapt to unexpected change and instead of letting that situation take over I made it work for me...How many of you have set your goals for the year and already so many people, places and things in your life have come to still your focus. Below are two very simple tips I have that help me stay focus, and I hope that they do the same for you especially in these time when people are so discouraged by the economy.
1.) Revisit your mission statement or goals.
2.) Find a way to make the distraction or obstacle work for you, and not against.
"And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose." Rom. 8:28
As my good friend Jo Ellen once said "ITS ALL GOOD! "
I would like to hear whats on your heart, what is trying to stop your focus... or How are you keeping your focus?

Change
On January 20, 2009 many of us witnessed history being made. We saw hundreds of thousands of Americans come together and share the magical moment of our first African American President being sworn in ... After talking with many of my family, friends and collegues I realized how many of us thought this day would not come so soon! President Obama's presence in the white house is living proof that people, places and things DO CHANGE!
How will you embrace this window of change and take your life to the next level by seeking God's purpose for your life?

What would you like to accomplish in 2009 ?
Greetings and Happy New Year Everyone!
My name is Deanna Hurn. I'm the president and founder of DHurn Enterprises, and this year I have big plans to grow my business tremendously with great planning, discipline and God I know I can do it! One of my goals this year is to enroll 10-15 math students into my math coaching program. Next week I began my marketing campaign, to began the process of attracting students that I know I can help! I also look forward to speaking at more colleges this year and sharing my story with other students to motivate them to embrace their challenges in life. To help me stay focus on my goals and achieve them, I have written a plan describing both my goals and what I need to accomplish by a given date to have my desired result. This year I have also joined a few groups that will help me stay motivated and focused. I believe with lots of prayer, discipline and my plan I will have a productive year! Join me on the journey of making 2009 a fruitful and fullfilling year!
What do you want to accomplish this year?
How do you plan to make your goals become a reality?
What people or groups have you joined to help you stay focused and motivated this year?
